2020 COVID-19 Community Assessment Update

Community Action completed an update to its Community Needs Assessment in May of 2020 to identify gaps in services in Lancaster and Saunders Counties as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The assessment report can be downloaded and reviewed here.

2020 Healthy Food Access Assessment and Recommendations

Ensuring that everyone has access to healthy food is the single most important and perhaps simplest thing we can do to support the health and well-being of our community. As part of a legacy project funded by Community Health Endowment of Lincoln, Community Action has completed a report to assess the current state of access to healthy food in Lincoln and explore opportunities for future development. The report provides information about the Healthy Food Access Program, a collaboration between Community Action and Food Bank of Lincoln; assesses community needs; and provides recommendations to further expand access to healthy food in Lincoln.

2015 Saunders County Community Needs Assessment

As part of our strategic planning, we conducted a survey of Saunders County residents to help us learn how Community Action could meet the needs of county residents. As a result, information from the surveys was collected, and on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 a community conversation was held to share survey results, collect additional input, and discuss next steps.
